We are particularly excited to welcome our keynote speaker, Professor Andrew Bonnell from the University of Queensland, whose presentation will be followed later in the day by a mini-Teachmeet which will demonstrate how ideas from the keynote can be used in the classroom. With a variety of wonderful workshops planned, this Conference promises to enrich your teaching journey and foster our vibrant community of history educators.
QHTA Conference Bursary Applications
The Queensland History Teachers’ Association is pleased to offer two regional bursaries to support teachers from rural and remote areas in attending the annual QHTA State Conference. These bursaries aim to reduce the financial barriers associated with travel and accommodation, ensuring that all educators have equitable access to high-quality professional learning. QHTA recognises the vital role that ongoing professional development and networking opportunities play in enhancing teaching practice, fostering collaboration, and strengthening the History education community across Queensland. Applications close 30 May 2025
