I am doing a brief bridging study on French imperialism in Indochina-Vietnam focus. Does anyone have any good go-to places for primary sources-written and pictorial. I am having diffiulting sourcing stuff where I can identify provenance. I’ve found some good sources but there is no available information about dates, creator etc no matter how hard I dig. I’m looking for stuff on coolies and the development of plantation industry and also sources dealing with the imposition of French language, laws and culture.
